Small But Mighty Part 3: Jesus and His Disciples

1 Corinthians 1:26-29

We wrap up our Small But Mighty series this Sunday with what may be the most powerful installment yet. Over the past two weeks we have seen how God used Gideon and his tiny army of 300, and David and his band of unlikely mighty men, to accomplish extraordinary things. This week we bring that same theme right into the New Testament and discover that God's pattern of choosing the small and overlooked reaches its ultimate expression in Jesus Christ Himself. Born in Bethlehem, a small, easy-to-overlook town.

Jesus would grow up and hand His world-changing mission to a small band of ordinary, unschooled fishermen. Men like Peter, who failed spectacularly, yet was graciously restored and went on to build the church of Jesus Christ. And a little boy whose small lunch, freely offered, fed thousands.
The message is simple and powerful:
God doesn’t call the equipped, He equips the called.

What He is looking for is not your ability, it is your availability. Join us this Sunday as we close the series with a challenge to stop waiting until you feel ready, and instead take a step of faith and say — Yes, Lord. Use me.

We will close in worship with Josh Baldwin's Made for More.
I hope to see you Sunday!
I love y’all
