This Sunday: Let Everything That Has Breath Praise the Lord!
Psalm 150:1-6
Church family, This Sunday, November 1, we’re taking a short break from Joshua for a special service of bluegrass-style worship. Bring your toe-tapping, your clapping hands, and your friends. Our text is Psalm 150, the last psalm in the book of Psalms. The whole book ends with a shout of praise, and we’ll see why.
Praise Him for who He is and where He is. He meets us in His sanctuary, and He is Lord over all the heavens. Any instrument surrendered to Him, from a banjo to a rough old voice, is one He can use.
Praise Him for His mighty acts and excellent greatness. We praise Him for what He has done and for who He is. Worship is our response to our Creator.
Praise Him with every instrument and every ability. God welcomes many styles of praise and uses the gifts He has given us. The heart matters more than the instrument.
Praise Him at all times and in all places. Praise is for everybody and isn’t limited to Sunday morning. We were created by Him and for His good pleasure (Revelation 4:11).
“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!” If you’re breathing, you’re invited. All are welcome! Please stay after the service and join us for a BBQ meal together.
I hope to see you Sunday,
Pastor doug
